WATCH: SPJ/LA Panel “Student Journalists Pivot in the Wake of COVID-19”

The Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists held a panel discussion on Feb. 23 titled “Student Journalists Pivot in the Wake of COVID-19.”

The panel featured Blake Atwell, sports reporter/anchor, UMTV, University of Miami; Christian Pineda, radio broadcaster and editorial assistant, KCSN 88.5. FM, Cal State University, Northridge; Carolyn Burt, editor in chief, The Corsair Newspaper, Santa Monica College; and Zane Meyer-Thornton, web visuals editor, Western Kentucky Herald, Western Kentucky University.

Barbara Kingsley-Wilson, faculty adviser, Daily 49er, Cal State University, Long Beach, moderated the panel.
