CNPA awards announced: Burbank Leader, Daily Pilot, Los Angeles Times win honors
The California Newspaper Publishers Association announced its annual awards Saturday, honoring the Burbank Leader with its highest award, general excellence, for weeklies with a circulation of between 11,001 and 25,000.
The Ventura County Star and The Signal received second-place honors for General Excellence in their respective circulation categories.
The Los Angeles Times and Daily Pilot took first-place awards for investigative or enterprise, again, in their respective circulation categories.
